Dr. Allison Podczerwinsky, Psy.D.
About Me
I reside with my family in Eastern North Carolina. My family consists of my spouse who was medically retired after 14 years of service and has served in combat deployments. Our two young children, three Great Danes, one small mixed dog and our cat. I have worked in an array of treatment settings such as crisis emergency services with University of North Carolina. Most recently, for over the past eight years I have been a contract psychologist with Department of Defense (DOD). I have a passion working with our active duty service members and veterans for an array of reasons. Even with my years of experience, I am able to relate and understand on a deeper level because of my personal experiences as a military spouse. My family and I have been on the receiving end of amazing as well as subpar care. This is one of the main reasons why I am dedicated to only giving the most competent and effective psychological services.
Education & Experience
I have earned a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Hilbert College located in NY, a Masters degree in Social Work from California State University Long Beach and a Doctorate degree in Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University located in CA.
