About Me
Have you ever felt like your mind understands that you’re safe, but your body hasn’t caught up yet? Do you feel like you’re ready to stop surviving and start healing? Let’s face it, starting therapy can be an overwhelming decision with a lot of uncertainties. But healing doesn’t have to happen alone. My role is to act as a supportive guide in your search to reconnect with yourself and what it feels like to finally feel safe. I believe this happens when we understand, and stop avoiding, our emotions and experiences. My approach is person-centered, compassionate, and collaborative. I see you as the expert of your own story, and my role is to guide you toward insight and healing at your own pace. Through EMDR and trauma-informed care, I help clients explore how past experiences, attachment history, and cultural influences shape their present-day patterns of thinking and relating. Together, we work to reprocess distressing experiences, reduce psychological distress, and develop tools for emotional regulation and self-compassion. I also integrate Sandplay therapy, expressive arts, and other creative approaches to deepen awareness and healing when words are not enough. I currently work with adults, teens, and children. I support clients working through grief, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, complex trauma, attachment wounds, phobias, low self-esteem, and imposter syndrome. My goal is to help you figure out the difference between discomfort and being unsafe, so you can release what no longer serves you and move toward the life you want to live. I am local to both Manalapan and Shrewsbury surrounding areas. I also offer virtual sessions.
