About Me
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist based in Ontario, offering trauma-informed care for youth, adults, and families. My practice integrates EMDR with somatic, mindfulness, and relational approaches to support nervous system regulation and emotional resilience. I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, and intergenerational trauma, and I’m committed to inclusive, culturally rooted care — including support for First Nations clients. I also supervise emerging therapists and lead a clinic focused on accessible, whole-person healing.
Education & Experience
I hold a Master of Education in Educational Counselling from the University of Ottawa, along with a Certificate in Crisis Management and Human Psychology from Algonquin College. I’m also a certified 200-hour yoga teacher, integrating somatic and mindfulness-based practices into my clinical work. Since 2009, I’ve supported youth, adults, and families through trauma-informed psychotherapy, specializing in anxiety, life transitions, and executive functioning. I’m trained in clinical supervision and passionate about mentoring emerging therapists in integrative, client-centered care.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am an active member of the Indigenous Circle Chapter of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, contributing to initiatives that promote culturally attuned and inclusive care. I also facilitate volunteer peer supervision groups, fostering collaboration and professional growth among therapists. Earlier in my career, I co‑founded Ancoura, a non‑profit organization providing supportive housing for individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. In 2016, I helped organize the Ottawa Women’s March, reflecting my ongoing commitment to advocacy, equity, and community empowerment.
