About Me

My favorite part of counseling is when a person finally believes in their heart what they know in their brain. "I'm loveable, I'm capable, I'm safe." I believe everyone who walks into my office was born worthy of love and happiness but life's adversities can make that seem impossible, but even in muddy waters, a lotus flower blooms. My approach to counseling is to get to know your unique lived experience, understand where you would like to grow, and empower you with the knowledge and resources that suit you best. Not everyone follows the same path to healing, so I take it at your pace and comfort level and always welcome feedback. I help by providing a collaborative and client-centered approach, empowering individuals to reclaim their power and find their own path to healing. I’m trained in EMDR (including a specialization for children), TF-CBT, and trauma-sensitive yoga. I believe therapy should be flexible and adaptable, using evidence-based techniques that match your unique needs. I understand the challenges of adjusting to college, navigating motherhood, and healing from trauma, and I strive to create a space where you feel truly seen, supported, and be yourself.
