About Me
I believe that therapy is meant to empower clients to feel that they are capable of change and living a fuller, more integrated life. I work with individuals and couples dealing with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and family conflict. I utilize a systemic and bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach in therapy. This simply means integrating the many parts of a person into therapy. I also aim to explore the impact of significant relationships and the influence of larger social systems on client's sense of wholeness and ability to achieve desired growth. I specialize in assisting emerging adults through transition, trauma, and crises of faith and spirituality. I seek to provide a safe space for those who have experienced wounding by the church and other religious organizations. I am trained in EMDR, and I also have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Finding the right therapist can be challenging and feel overwhelming. I treat any inquiries with the same openness and warmth I provide to any client. Please do not hesitate to contact me and see if I might be a good fit for you.
Education & Experience
I received my MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University in 2012. I do not agree with nor support the university's stances on LGBTQIA+ rights. I have been working in my private practice since 2015, and have been EMDR trained and practicing since 2021.
