About Me

I am an evidenced-based psychologist and I use a variety of treatment modalities to tailor therapy to your individual needs. I use a warm, authentic, and collaborative approach to therapy and feel that being a genuine person in the therapy room is an important part of feeling safe and comfortable in an individual therapy setting. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and am EMDR trained and am working towards becoming EMDR certified. I also employ Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Attachment-Focused therapy in my work with clients. I have a history of working in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient private practice, integrated health settings, primary care, college counseling centers, and community mental health. My specialities are working with individuals with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, and affect regulation. I also specialize in helping people understand and recover from narcissistic abuse in relationships and in family systems (Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents). With my training in health psychology and working in integrative medical settings, I also have a niche in working with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
