ABOUT AMY... Amy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Life Coach, SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Facilitator providing premarital and marriage counseling and trained in EMDR Therapy. Amy specializes in helping people identify and achieve their personal goals and cope with the issues that are causing them distress. Amy takes great pride in the progress and success of her clients and look forward to helping you! Miniature Australian Shepherds Mila and Willow are partners to Amy and spend most 1/2 days at the office individually. Mila is a trained registered Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Therapy Dog. Willow is learning from Mila! Both are sassy, sweet, supportive and smart! For individuals, couples and families of all ages and stages, counseling provides opportunity to resolve personal, social and psychological problems and difficulties. Together we will explore what is and is not working in your life, consider past, present and future challenges, healthy and unhealthy relationships and ways to pursue quality of life. We will work together to establish goals for therapy using therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness and Person-Centered.
