About Me

I’m guided by the mantra, “I know in each moment, I’m free to decide”—a lesson my father instilled in me early on. Living with OCD since childhood, I’ve learned firsthand the power of resilience and support. That insight sparked a passion for helping others, one that began in childhood and ultimately led me to a career in therapy. I find deep fulfillment in supporting individuals and families as they navigate difficult situations and create meaningful change. My lived experience informs a compassionate, affirming approach—especially when working with those facing OCD, eating disorders, trauma, and related challenges. Through my work with diverse populations and various mental health issues, I’ve found my niche in helping individuals with eating disorders, as well as those navigating living with anxiety, depression, and OCD themselves. I also specialize in trauma processing and utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, an effective approach that helps clients confront and reframe traumatic memories, promoting emotional well-being and resilience. I also specialize in working with individuals living with eating disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), and Night Eating Syndrome, as well as those experiencing disordered eating patterns such as Orthorexia. My approach is grounded in Health at Every Size (HAES), anti-diet principles, neurodivergent-affirming practices, and harm reduction. I understand that reaching out for help can be daunting. Whether you’re struggling with disordered eating, OCD, trauma, anxiety, or navigating life as a neurodivergent person, I’m here to meet you where you are. My approach is individualized and client centered. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you, work toward meaningful change, and support you in discovering your true self.
