About Me

Amy Jones (she/her) is a Clinical Social Worker, Couples and Family Therapist, EMDRIA Certified Therapist, and Perinatal Mental Health Certified Therapist at the Council for Relationships (CFR), where she also serves as Director of Women’s Psychological Health Services. She is also an Integrated Life Advocate with the Third Path Institute, which focuses on redesigning work, family, and leadership for a more sustainable and integrated life. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by relationship stress, challenges in communicating with your partner, managing anxiety and panic after a traumatic experience, navigating a major life transition, or struggling to feel like yourself during pregnancy or postpartum, you’ve come to the right place. Amy's practice offers a calm, compassionate space where individuals and couples can feel seen, supported, and understood. Whether you’re working through anxiety, recovering from trauma, rebuilding trust, or adjusting to new roles as parents, she can help you move toward greater connection, clarity, and emotional resilience. In sessions, you’ll work together to understand your story, strengthen your relationships, and build the tools you need to feel more grounded, empowered, and connected.

Education & Experience

Amy came to this work with a deep belief in the healing power of relationships—both the ones we build with others and the ones we nurture within ourselves. Her path to becoming a therapist began with a lifelong passion for social justice and a curiosity about how people grow through challenge and change. Practicing therapy is not just her profession—it’s an extension of how she moves through the world: with presence, empathy, and deep respect for each person’s unique story. Outside the therapy room, Amy facilitates community workshops and groups on trauma, loss, relationship dynamics, work-life integration, and navigating perinatal and postpartum transitions. She also supervises student and pre-licensed therapists. Amy is passionate about creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where people can reflect, connect, and grow together. If you’re interested in working together, Amy welcomes you to reach out by email or the webform below. Amy provides a free 15-minute consultation with all prospective clients to see if it feels like the right fit. She understands that taking the first step toward support can feel vulnerable—and she’s here to help you feel grounded, connected, and supported as you move forward.
