Ms. Amy Vicars, LCPC, LAC, MAC
About Me
I was born and raised in Billings Montana and enjoy the beauty of Big Sky Country. I count my blessings daily and am grateful to be surrounded by family and friends. I take pleasure in the arts, cinema, music, laughing, and spending quality time with my loved ones. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with specialization in Early Childhood Studies. I had the opportunity to work with recovering alcoholic/drug addicts in an inpatient addiction treatment setting after going to graduate school to become a counselor. In the world today, we face so many complex issues and can benefit from support from someone who is non-judgmental and cares. After acquiring my mental health license, I began working with adults with co-occurring disorders in individual and group therapy. My passion has always been helping others and through my personal life struggles, I have gained a compassionate perspective on life. I believe every struggle I've faced has taught me valuable lessons and helped me to become humble, empathetic, and tenacious in everything I do. If you are searching for a counselor with these qualities to help you or your loved one, I look forward to meeting you.
