Miss Ana N Gomez Diaz, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Colorado Springs. I am of Hispanic origin and have lived in several countries. These experiences have enriched my worldview and helped me to better understand people's struggles. I like assisting clients in processing traumatic experiences related to developmental and cultural trauma. I enjoy helping clients identify core beliefs, cognitive distortions, triggers, and attachment styles. I also like helping clients who struggle with multicultural problems due to living in a different country/culture. The most beautiful part of therapy is having the privilege of getting to know my clients.
Education & Experience
I earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago in 2020. My foundation in psychology was laid at the University Complutense of Madrid in Spain, where she graduated as a clinical psychologist in 2009. I have helped many clients who struggle with emotional, physical, religious, racial, cultural, and societal abuse and trauma, I offer a safe space for clients to analyze and process past experiences, empowering them to rewire their brain circuits.
