Miss Ana N Gomez Diaz, LPC
(She/Her/Hers)
About Me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Colorado Springs. I am of Hispanic origin and have lived in several countries. These experiences have enriched my worldview and helped me to better understand people's struggles. I like assisting clients in processing traumatic experiences related to developmental and cultural trauma. I enjoy helping clients identify core beliefs, cognitive distortions, triggers, and attachment styles. I also like helping clients who struggle with multicultural problems due to living in a different country/culture. The most beautiful part of therapy is having the privilege of getting to know my clients.
Education & Experience
I earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago in 2020. My foundation in psychology was laid at the University Complutense of Madrid in Spain, where I graduated as a clinical psychologist in 2009. I have helped many clients who struggle with emotional, physical, religious, racial, cultural, and societal abuse and trauma, I offer a safe space for clients to analyze and process past experiences, empowering them to rewire their brain circuits.
