About Me
I believe that for us to be our best selves, we need connection with one another. I strive to help individuals find value and connection with others through healthy relationships. Asking for help in personal and painful situations is a vulnerable and humbling experience. I find it a privilege to walk alongside others as they share their stories in search of peace and personal growth. Through the use of a variety of research-based approaches, I seek to help others feel accepted, hopeful, and not alone in their situation
Education & Experience
I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University and Bachelor of Social Work through Messiah University. With over 20 years of experience in the human service field working with children and adults, I served in several agencies with children and adolescents in therapeutic foster care, residential, hospital, and educational settings. In addition, I spent time as a medical social worker supporting individuals through life challenges, grief, coping with loss, domestic violence, aging, anxiety, and depression.
