About Me
Andrew Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). He graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2018 with a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and in 2019 with a Specialists in Counselor Education and Supervision. Andrew has specialized training in Addiction Counseling and Trauma-Informed Care. He is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a specialized modality designed to assist individuals in working through their experiences with trauma. Andrew has a variety of clinical experience working with chronic mental illness, addiction, domestic violence, and eating disorders. Many of the presenting concerns Andrew has worked with include depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, marital conflict, substance dependence, trauma and work-related stress.
