About Me
Do you feel triggered by current experiences? Do past experiences continue to impact your daily life? Would you like to feel more at peace with your past, grounded in the present, and hopeful for the future? Our experiences contribute to our beliefs about ourselves, impacting the ways in which we think, feel, move, relate, cope, and operate throughout our lives. Because traumas are physically stored in our bodies with unhelpful beliefs and distressing sensations and emotions, somatic approaches are effective for processing trauma, allowing us to experience more adaptive beliefs and reduced distress. I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and somatic techniques to help heal past traumas so that you can feel mental, emotional, and physical relief in your symptoms. I am also a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist using an intuitive eating, gentle nutrition, and Health at Every Size approach in addition to EMDR and somatic techniques to improve relationships with food and body image. If you're ready to shift trauma responses and patterns that are no longer serving you, feel free to message me to set up a 15-minute complimentary consultation to see if I may be a good fit for your needs. I hope to help in your next phase of healing!
