About Me
I am a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist specializing in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process trauma, reduce distress, and build resilience. With over a decade of experience in social services across multiple countries, I bring a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach to therapy. My practice supports adults navigating the impacts of trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and cultural adjustment. I integrate EMDR with narrative therapy and mindfulness to create individualized treatment plans that address both immediate symptoms and deeper patterns. I also have lived experience managing a chronic illness, which informs my compassionate and practical approach to care. I provide services in English and Italian, offering both in-person sessions in Burlington, Ontario, and secure virtual sessions across the province. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where clients can feel seen, understood, and empowered to move forward.
