Dr. Anita Toutikian, PhD
About Me
My name is Anita Toutikian, and I live in Beirut, Lebanon. I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Saint Joseph University in Beirut and a practice license from the Ministry of Health in Lebanon. I have received training in various therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Art Therapy, Ego State Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Sandplay Therapy. I believe that effective therapy requires scientific knowledge, extensive experience, and an authentic therapeutic relationship. I focus on creating a comfortable environment where clients feel free and at ease. My clients often describe our sessions as easy and relaxing, likely due to my calm demeanor. However, I know that the strength of the therapeutic relationship is ultimately reinforced by achieving tangible results.
