Education & Experience
In my private practice in Amherst, MA I provide individual therapy and family sessions to clients ages 5-70. I treat a variety of issues, including trauma and PTSD, disrupted attachments, self-harm, family conflict, substance use, AD/HD, anxiety, depression and mood disorders, disruptive behavior, and adjustment issues (e.g. divorce). I also provide parent education and guidance to parents with complex parenting issues. I completed my Psy.D. at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology in 2001 and was licensed in 2002. I am also an accomplished flutist and singer, and having sideswiped a professional music career, I enjoy working with musicians, artists, writers, and creative people of any kind.
