Annika Bartos, MA, LMFT

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Minnesota and moved to the south Minneapolis/St. Paul area in 2003. I am married with 2 kiddos, a daughter and son. Some of my interests include gardening, cooking, traveling, camping, decorating, music, yoga, movie nights at home, working out and training for marathons and triathlons. I have a strong Christian faith that guides me and fills me with hope for others. Before I became a therapist, I worked corporate jobs in IT and finance, was a teacher, youth camp counselor, ministry employee, and missionary in Australia. All my varied life experiences have shaped who I am and help me to better connect with others. I used to ask the question “why do I have to go through this hurt and struggle?” but have discovered that those difficult times have made me stronger, increased my confidence, and are now used to relate to others.
