About Me
Hi, I’m Ashley. I’m here to help you do the things that have felt scary, face what’s been holding you back, and finally start healing. Many of my clients come to me after trying other therapies that felt supportive but didn’t lead to the deep healing or lasting change they hoped for. They worked hard holding it all together maybe for everyone but themselves. You’re strong, insightful, and capable, yet find yourself stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Whether it’s old wounds that keep resurfacing or current stress that feels all-consuming, therapy can be the place where you finally stop surviving and start healing.
Education & Experience
I earned my Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) from Nova Southeastern University, where I focused on trauma-informed, evidence-based care. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center, with rotations in general mental health, Women’s Clinic, and PTSD clinic. I then completed a post-doctoral residency specializing in PTSD across the lifespan, further honing my skills in trauma recovery. Since completion of my residency I have continued to work in the field of PTSD. I am EMDRIA-certified in EMDR and trained in several evidence-based trauma therapies, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET). My training allows me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, while maintaining a strong foundation in research-supported approaches.
