About Me

Life can be overwhelming for people who have experienced a trauma or lost hope in finding happiness from within. This results in maladaptive coping skills and an unhealthy lifestyle. I believe in strengthening clients to restore healthy lives. My calming and supportive presence allows a safe environment for clients to freely express their thoughts and feelings. Once a therapeutic relationship is established, I believe in guiding clients through working through their trauma/mental health/relationship issues, etc. by listening to their narratives and guiding them in the direction of their individual goals. I have a specialty in working with trauma (including domestic violence & sexual assault), anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship conflict, & working with elite athletes. My approach is very relational, client centered and strengths based. I believe in empowering my clients to make their own choices and decide how they want their lives to look. Therapy can be challenging and emotionally draining but I am here to work along side you as an equal partner/team member. This is and will always be a judgement free zone. Keep in mind that therapy is not a "quick fix." I can offer skills that you can implement immediately but lasting change involves a deeper exploration of issues and commitment to self.
