About Me
Ashlyn is a dedicated therapist who prioritizes empowerment and self-determination. With a clientele spanning ages 5 to 45, Ashlyn focuses on addressing symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, and emotional dysregulation. While maintaining a flexible approach, Ashlyn integrates various therapeutic modalities and techniques to best suit her clients’ needs. Modalities include Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT). Ashlyn empowers her clients to explore their strengths, develop coping strategies, and cultivate resilience through a range of techniques such as play, art, strengths-based interventions, and unconditional positive regard. With a commitment to compassionate care, Ashlyn supports her clients as they navigate life’s challenges, guiding them toward a deeper understanding of their worth and potential.
Education & Experience
Ashlyn earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Work & Psychology from Loras College in 2017 and her Master's in Social Work from St. Ambrose University in 2021.
