About Me
Therapy/EMDR for adults who feel stuck and overwhelmed. If you overthink, people-please, overwork, or feel stuck in patterns you can’t seem to change, you’re in the right place. Many of my clients describe feeling like they’re still in survival mode, even though nothing “big” is happening right now. I help my clients step out of shame and centering their lives on doing things “right” to embody audacious authenticity. My clients value the warm, real, caring relationship we create together that unlocks safety and deep healing. I offer online sessions only, in both Michigan and Ohio.
Education & Experience
I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University. My style is authentic and real, open, collaborative, and empowering. I practice from a relational trauma-informed perspective in which genuine connection and respect form the foundation of the work. I am fundamentally a person-centered therapist employing EMDR as a powerful tool, but I also draw from a wealth of perspectives including cognitive, attachment, narrative, psychodynamic, strengths-based, Gottman, feminist, mindfulness, and family systems. I offer online therapy in Michigan and Ohio. If you’re ready to understand your patterns and move toward a steadier, more authentic way of being, I’d be honored to work with you.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a member of the American Counseling Association, American Psychological Association, the Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association, and the National Board for Certified Counselors.
