About Me
Helping others has always been my passion. As the daughter of immigrants, I witnessed my parents helping others with compassion and understanding, and I carry those examples with me every day to better serve others. As a first-generation Latina woman, I have faced many of the same challenges experienced by other Latinx and professionals of color. I have been on the other side of the chair and understand how difficult it can be to ask for help. I understand the stigma associated with receiving mental health services and am proud of you for taking the first steps. I believe that sharing experiences strengthens the therapeutic relationship and our work together. With over 10 years of experience in mental health, I have worked in various settings, including nonprofit organizations, domestic violence shelters, government, and hospitals. My experience has allowed me to help children, adults, and older adults from different cultures, ethnicities, socioeconomic backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual preferences. I believe I have the experience to guide you on your healing journey.
