About Me
Hello! I'm glad you are here and ready to take steps towards healing and wellness! Let me tell you a little about me. My name is Breanna and I love working with people! I value compassion, empathy, and humor and enjoy partnering with my clients to help them meet their needs and work towards goals that are important to them. I believe it is important to acknowledge areas of growth. I am always learning and pursuing a better understanding of how to come alongside people and value who they are and their experiences. With over nineteen years of clinical experience working with adults, families, youth, and children in private practice, community mental health, residential care, and within student ministries, I offer an all encompassing approach to care. I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Supervisor in Washington State. My specialties are Trauma and PTSD, Mood & Anxiety Disorders, and Severe Mental Health Issues. I am an EMDR Certified therapist and find this is great way to help clients move through prior trauma and develop the life they want to live. In addition to EMDR, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems, and Attachment theories, along with other evidence-based practices. As I continue on my own healing journey, I am inspired by the growth in my clients, as well. I am honored to provide a space where your stories are heard, your needs are met, and change is possible.
Education & Experience
I began working in social services and mental health in 1999 following the completion of her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Behavioral Science, with a Minor in Youth Ministries from Northwest University (Northwest College, at that time). In 2005, I completed my Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology through Northwest University's Graduate School and has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2013.
