About Me
At times in our lives, we may be presented with challenges in which professional assistance can help us to overcome those obstacles. The first & perhaps the hardest step is asking for help. Therapy provides a safe place to unlearn who we were conditioned to be. I believe that this experience offers us freedom, which comes from healing our wounds & learning to feel more comfortable being our authentic selves. Through challenging & changing negative thoughts, feelings, and actions, an individual can change their view on internal & external stressors. Thus assisting in achieving treatment goals & increasing life satisfaction. I specialize in helping individuals and families overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life changes such as marriage, maternal mental health (postpartum), divorce, and parenting struggles. I incorporate Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Parts & Memory (P&MT) to best serve my clients. To me, therapy is more than a safe place to vent. I want to teach my clients the skills and techniques to make positive and lasting changes. If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, Let's Connect! I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
