Education & Experience
Brooke received her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2020 and her Registered Play Therapist™ certification in 2023. With over 7 years of clinical experience in working with children, teenagers, and adults, Brooke provides therapy through an assortment of treatment models to best fit her client’s needs. Those models include Christian counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, EMDR, and play therapy. In her work with children, Brooke utilizes Adlerian Play Therapy. Brooke works with parents and caregivers, as well as providing individual play sessions with child clients. Some of the clinical concerns that she specializes in are anxiety, grief, trauma, self-injurious behavior, and depression (including the treatment of bipolar disorders). Additionally, Brooke offers mental health workshops for churches and non-profit organizations. Her work helps leaders better understand emotional and behavioral concerns in children and adolescents and apply clinical skills in group settings and everyday communication. She integrates mental health education with faith-based and practical tools, and has experience working with volunteers, church staff, non-profit teams, and other community settings.
