Bryan James Hinman, LCPC

Preferred Name: Bryan
About Me
Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) are my most common therapeutic approaches. Whichever treatment approach I use is ultimately determined by both of us with a full understanding of the risks and benefits before proceeding. Above all, safety is key and I move at the pace of my client. I work full-time at a non-profit agency (Chestnut Health Systems) and also have a side business in which I see a small number of private pay/insured clients (Bryan Hinman Counseling PLLC). Please note that I am only currently accepting new clients through my private business, Bryan Hinman Counseling PLLC, and not at Chestnut Health Systems at this time.
Education & Experience
I have over 14 years of experience in working with adults with a wide range of addiction issues, trauma, anxiety, and co-occurring disorders. I have created and attended multiple trainings on LGBTQ+ related topics.
