About Me

Hello there! I’m an LCSW and I practice mental health therapy at Old Towne Counseling of Newburgh. I am taking new clients! I am an EMDR Trained Clinician, and I am very excited to be able to offer this service to the public because of how helpful it can be! I like to help people who feel “stuck" feel “unstuck." I have a lot of experience working with people ages 18 and older (of any orientation or background) with varying issues including anxiety, depression, addictions, and trauma. I've been trained in many therapy styles including CBT, CPT, ACT so I can adapt to a person's needs, but I have a focus in EMDR. I’m also a big believer in a person’s capacity to grow in a therapist’s office when they feel comfortable, so developing rapport (a solid working relationship in which you can feel confident in the changes you make) is also a big part of my work.
