About Me
Hello, I am Caitlin! I love working with individuals, families, adolescents, and youth (ages 8+) across the lifespan. I am bilingual allowing for sessions in Spanish and English. My specialties include helping those with attachment disorders, trauma/complex trauma, dissociation, abuse & neglect, depression, anxiety/social anxiety, OCD, grief/loss, ADHD, adolescent issues and family issues, relational issues, and domestic violence. I am trained and can provide immediate help to those dealing with the effects of PTSD or trauma. I want to create a space of safety for you in therapy to navigate pain, trauma, and to help challenge difficult thoughts and feelings. I seek to meet you where you are at and through taking a holistic approach I seek to create a way to truly provide healing from emotional wounds. I offer therapy sessions in English and Spanish, individual, couples, and family sessions in office Mon-Thurs in person or telehealth.
Education & Experience
I have had extensive training and experience in working with adolescents. I previously worked at three different residential treatment centers for teens 12-18 who struggled with displacement, family issues, sexual abuse trauma, emotional disorders and substance use disorders. I am trained in ego state therapies (DNMS and IFS) for dissociation. I am EMDR trained, and have OCD & Anxiety treatment certification, as well as grief and loss training. I am Gottman Level 2 trained to help with relationship issues and completed a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment (NATC) training program and engaged in a Personality Disorder Certification training to help complex cases.
