About Me
“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free” – Michelangelo. With the right support and guidance, I believe each individual has the capacity to live a rich, full life, free of the emotional and psychological burdens that may hinder our pursuit of happiness and personal fulfillment. Together, in a comfortable, nonjudgmental atmosphere, we can identify and empower the strengths already within to create a meaningful, fulfilling change. I invite each client to engage in an integrative, holistic experience where all aspects of your well-being are valued and incorporated into our process. I appreciate the power of humor to facilitate interpersonal connections and honor the resilience of the human spirit. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my specialties include adolescents, adults, trauma & crisis intervention using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), and Brainspotting. For the past 8 years I have worked in a variety of residential settings and private practices with adolescents, adults, and families struggling to cope with trauma, depression, anxiety, school avoidance, social phobias, disordered eating, and self-destructive behaviors.
