About Me

If you woke up tomorrow and your life was exactly how you wanted it to be, what would be different? Maybe you’ve been feeling stuck and weighed down by the past, and you want to be unburdened and able to move forward with your life. Perhaps you want to manage stress better, improve your relationships, or feel less depressed and worried. You may want support around uncertainty, grief, anxiety, or fear related to the world around you, with concerns related to discrimination, politics, or the future of our country/world. Whether you’re struggling with the weight of past trauma, the stress of the present, or navigating difficult emotions about the future, therapy can be a powerful tool for creating meaningful and lasting change. As a psychologist specializing in EMDR and other trauma-focused therapies, I am dedicated to helping clients heal from painful past experiences and reduce the impact of the past on life now. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and personalized to fit each client's needs and goals. With compassion and authenticity, I collaboratively work with clients to help them build healthier coping strategies, improve relationships, and put the past in the past. If you are interested in working with me, feel free to reach out to set up an initial phone consultation, which is a brief, free of charge call to determine goodness of fit. It's an opportunity for you to share what is bringing you to therapy and what you are looking for and for me to share more about the work that I do.

Education & Experience

I received my Psy.D. (Doctor of Psychology) and M.A. (Master of Arts) in Clinical Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Atlanta and my B.S. I have experience working with diverse adult clients (ages 18+) with a wide range of presenting concerns and in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, integrated primary care, VA hospital and women's clinic, four different university counseling centers, and an intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization eating disorder program.
