About Me
When it comes to therapy, it's important to recognize that each person is unique, with their own set of experiences and challenges. You might be dealing with a situation that's upended your life or dealing with painful memories of the past. You might have experiences or an identity that aren't common within mainstream culture. You want someone with a compassionate and non-judgmental style to support you with overcoming obstacles so you can have more of what you really want for yourself.
Education & Experience
I’ve spent many years as a trauma therapist and clinical consultant in programs that support unique identities and experiences. In addition to EMDR, I use well-researched methods like Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT, CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you tap into your strengths while navigating the rough roads in life. I operate from an anti-oppression framework so people can bring themselves fully into an affirming space for self-discovery.
