About Me
I am grateful for the healing that EMDR has brought about in my life, and grateful to be able to offer such a powerful modality to my clients. Some people respond to it more deeply than others, and when a client feels stuck, I find that doing some Internal Family Systems or parts work can often quickly get the EMDR processing back on track. I am a believer in offering clients multiple modalities. When clients present an issue they want to work on, I often present a couple of ways that we might approach it and the client makes the choice of how we proceed.
Education & Experience
I am a clinical social worker and have been working in the mental health field for over thirty years in various settings including hospitals, mental health centers, and schools. My private practice is in Camden, Maine and currently I am passionate about providing mostly individual psychotherapy to adults, in person and via telehealth.
