About Me
Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to pursue a career that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest led me to study psychological science, social work, and social justice. I care deeply about human rights, cultural humility, and the integration of anti-oppressive practices. As a LCSW, I am committed to the well-being of all my clients and strive to cater to their holistic needs. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults on various issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, complex trauma, oppression, relationships and intimacy, sexual assault and domestic violence, and LGBTQ+ dynamics.
Education & Experience
I view therapy as a collaborative process in which the client has ultimate control, and the therapist acts as a proactive, flexible guide. I use an integrated approach to treatment, drawing from my training in polyvagal theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, somatic therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, and attachment-based modalities. My goal is to provide a safe, genuine, and compassionate environment where individuals can process their experiences and learn practical skills to feel better. The safe space we create in therapy helps to establish and achieve goals, feel more present, and heal from stress, pain, and trauma that may feel unmanageable. My practice is 100% virtual, and I am able to provide telehealth services to those located in VA or Washington, DC.
