About Me
I work primarily with adolescents and adults. Having worked for over 20 years in the field of Counselling and over 32 years in the field of education. I love working with youth and adults and am skilled with a variety of therapies. I love to problem solve and use both clinical interview skills and as well as assessment to quickly determine a pathway to healing with the client. I read extensively about neuroscience, TCM and generally I love learning new things.
Education & Experience
I have a BSc with a major in physics and a BEd from the University of PEI. I completed a Masters degree in Leadership in Learning from UPEI and a Masters Degree in Counselling from Acadia University. I am a level A, B & C assessment technician and am registered with Psychcorp, WPS and Parinc.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
Professionally, I am a registered Counselling Therapist (CCT) in PEI a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) and am registered with EMDRIA.. I volunteer with the KISH GSA, Coordinate the KISH graduation ceremony and KISH scholarships.
