Cartelia Kennedy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) dedicated to holistic and person-centered therapy. With a strong foundation in mental health and trauma-informed care, she specializes in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, complex trauma, and major life transitions. Cartelia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, a Master of Arts in Teacher Leadership, and a Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health. She is also a Registered Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher, trained in Hatha and Kaiut Yoga- 300hr, and an EMDR-trained therapist currently working toward certification. Her approach integrates traditional psychotherapy, somatic work, and mindfulness-based techniques, offering clients a well-rounded healing experience. Serving adolescents (16+) and adults, Cartelia provides a safe and supportive environment for clients to process emotions, develop coping skills, and foster resilience. She is particularly skilled in helping individuals regulate their nervous system, rebuild self-trust, and overcome trauma-related challenges. As the owner of Wellness Work Counseling Service, PLLC, in Cedar Park, Texas, Cartelia is committed to promoting mental, emotional, and physical well-being in her community.
