About Me
I have been in practice as a therapist for about ten years and find the trauma informed lens is the most useful and successful way to treat so many difficulties and diagnoses patients have. I have worked in a supportive insight-oriented talk therapy way for years and have found it often successful with many traumas, but not as much for the kind especially hard to talk about. This includes, for instance, violence and sexual abuse. I have found healing and empowerment with patients using EMDR in these instances. I am trained in S.A.F.E. somatic and attachment focused EMDR, and I continue to study somatic and attachment theories and skills as a way of complementing my EMDR training.
