About Me
I'm a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to helping adults, teens, and preteens heal from trauma. My work focuses on using EMDR and a wide variety of types of therapy to meet each individual where they are. I love to use humor, play, and metaphor in sessions and I'm passionate about advocating for change in the child welfare system.
Education & Experience
I obtained a Bachelor of Music from Vanderbilt University in 2005 and a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina in 2007. I began my social work career in the child welfare sector and have worked in the mental health field in both inpatient and outpatient settings for many years. I am the founder and owner of Aloft Healing Studios, a trauma-informed private practice.
