Online Therapy

About Me

Welcome to Virtual Horizons Counseling Services — a safe and supportive online space for adults seeking healing from trauma, PTSD, and mood-related challenges. As a member of the BIPOC community, I recognize the lasting impact of systemic racism, poverty, and cultural marginalization, and I provide therapy that is both trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. My work focuses on EMDR therapy, with integration of somatic, mindfulness, and attachment-based approaches. I also bring over a decade of experience as a women’s group leader and speaker in church communities, which informs my compassionate and faith-sensitive care. All sessions are conducted virtually, offering flexibility, privacy, and consistent support from the comfort of your own home. Online counseling removes travel barriers and makes therapy more accessible to those balancing demanding schedules or living in underserved areas. I am licensed in Florida and North Carolina, with telehealth privileges in South Carolina. My goal is to walk with you as you move from survival to resilience—restoring connection, clarity, and hope along the way.

Education & Experience

I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and am a Board-Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors. I have completed specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, equipping me to help clients process and heal from the deep impact of trauma. In addition to my clinical work, I have served for more than a decade as a women’s life group leader and speaker in church communities, offering support and guidance through seasons of grief, resilience, and growth. My combined academic training, professional certifications, and lived experience as a member of the BIPOC community allow me to provide culturally responsive, compassionate care in every session.
