Charleen Meyer, LMFT, ATR
About Me
I am an LMFT and registered art therapist (ATR), and incorporate an eclectic and embodied approach to healing, including EMDR and Somatic Experiencing with teens and adults. I specialize in grief and loss and anxiety that manifests as somatic symptoms, perfectionism, poor self-worth, unhealthy relationship patterns, and cultural-identity issues using an attachment and somatic-based theoretical perspective. People say I have a soothing and calming energy and that I'm compassionate and empathic. I believe in combining visual (art therapy), emotional, cognitive, and sensory (EMDR and SE) processes in your healing journey so we can heal the root of the emotional pain.
