About Me

Sometimes therapists are called the "wounded healers" because from their own life experiences they have decided to help people. I am proud to be one of those therapists. I have had a wealth of life experiences and losses and can truly empathize with my clients. I have experience in many areas of Social Work; including housing homeless people, coordinating adoptions, and advocating for pre-adjudicated youth. As a Clinical Therapist, I have worked in Home Based Therapy, Outpatient Mental Health, Residential, and Addiction. I firmly believe that these varied populations and organizations have enriched my integrative approach to therapy. I believe in a Holistic Approach that incorporates Mind, Body, and, Spirit. In my office, my clients are free to be who they are and spiritually connect with whomever they chose. I am an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Trained Therapist and utilize this approach, in conjunction with other practices, as often as possible. I am completing my application to be certified now. Above all, I want my clients to feel at ease with me and part of a partnership, working toward their ultimate goal(s). I believe humor and laughter can be invaluable in healing and it is often heard coming from my office…
