About Me
I specialize in working with women who struggle with perfectionism, trauma, anxiety, eating disorders and OCD. I offer evidence-based therapy delivered in a real and down-to-earth style. In a space that feels safe, warm and accepting, we will work as a team to identify your goals and plan a path for change. You can resolve the past and learn practical skills to help you handle the painful thoughts, feelings, and self-defeating habits that keep you feeling stuck. Then begin to take action on what matters to you! I don't want to keep you in therapy forever. My goal is to help you develop skills that will help you now and in the future so you can move on and handle any of the many challenges that life brings. Research supports the effectiveness EMDR for a broad range of issues. Talking and insight can be helpful, but is often not enough for lasting change. I believe in an approach where you can actively participate and practice the things that will help you create a rich and meaningful life. Schedule a consultation to find out if this approach might be right for you.
