About Me
I am a Consultant Forensic Psychologist. I have been in clinical practice for over 22 years. I use EMDR along with other therapeutic approaches, I am based in the UK and offer both face to face and online appointments.
Education & Experience
I have worked in prisons, residential care homes and secure psychiatric hospitals. The majority of my work has focused upon supporting those who have experienced trauma in their lives. As such, I have tended to work with people who may have experienced developmental trauma and may have diagnoses such as PTSD, c-PTSD, OCD, health anxiety and Personality Disorders for example (particularly BPD). I am also trained in schema therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Somatic Trauma Therapy and tend to use an integrated approach to best meet the needs of a client.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am on the Board of Trustees for the National Association of People Abused in Childhood (NAPAC)
