About Me
Hello, I am a AuADHD licensed professional counselor treating adults with a specialized focus on neuropsychotheraputic conditions, such as Autism ADHD and trauma, related challenge. I am committed to providing compassionate safe, inclusive and effective care to individuals seeking support for a variety of challenges. I approach therapy as a collaborative partnership, fostering a safe and understanding environment where individuals can explore their own unique authenticity. I have a special understanding for those that feel as if they are an alien on another planet trying to learn the language. I help to create a space where being different is celebrated.
Education & Experience
I have been in the mental health field the past seventeen years working with neurodivergent adults and families including time spent working with the military and community-based settings. I have a military background and an understanding of military trauma. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 2017 and my master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling with a neuro counseling focus, from Bradley University, Peoria, IL in 2022. I attended Bradley due to my special interest in Autism and ADHD and other neurological conditions which prompted me to look for a Mental Health Program that provided a neuropsychotherapy focus.
