About Me

“It is when we have the courage to speak up and share our stories that we stop hiding ourselves from the life we are meant to live.” Chelsey is an integrative therapist who works with adults who have experienced childhood trauma. Her mission is to bring trauma-informed therapy to anyone seeking an alternative to just “getting by,” to being stuck in old patterns, held back by fears, insecurity, and unresolved pain. She uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Clinical Hypnosis, and Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping) to get to the root of the issue in the most gentle way possible.

Education & Experience

Chelsey started her education by attending massage school in 2003. During her training, she was introduced to the stress response and the effects it has on the body and mind. She later spent five years building custom green homes alongside her father and two brothers. Here she experienced the importance of movement, fresh air and sunshine for overall health and well-being (along with the importance of healthy boundaries!). In 2013, while earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from the University of Montana, Chelsey served as an intern at a therapeutic treatment center for men in corrections. She continued her education at Walla Walla University, where she received her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Throughout her post-graduate studies, Chelsey volunteered as a domestic violence counselor for a local women’s shelter and interned at an intensive therapeutic outpatient treatment center for adolescents. Since 2015, Chelsey has been helping people overcome fears, increase confidence, and move past overwhelming experiences.
