About Me

I have been practicing EMDR consistently since initial training in 2019. The bulk of my experience is healing complex trauma and traumatic events. This includes inner child work and creating a safe environment for the healing of all parts of the self. My approach is based on the belief that in treating the trauma, other symptoms such as depression and anxiety will be reduced to manageable levels. *contact information is for my private practice, which is In-Person and CASH ONLY for treatment and consultation services. Education & Experience

I have had the pleasure of working in Behavioral Health at Northern Valley Indian Health, since 2011. My position has changed from intern to Addiction Counselor to Addiction Program Manager and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I focus my training, education and practice in treating chronic, complex and severe trauma. This includes various approaches to inner child work, which I utilize in all phases of EMDR treatment. Other experience and education includes CBT, Narrative, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, psychoeducation, Individual and Group Counseling for people 6 -80+ years old, and Youth Program coordination, planning, and implementation. In total, I have over 20 years experience working directly with people in underserved, low income, and/or marginalized populations. EDUCATION: Graduated from CSUC with MSW 5/2016. Completed Addiction Counseling Certificate 10/2010 Graduated BCC with AS in Soc& Behavioral Science 1997
