About Me
I firmly believe that each person has the potential to overcome the impacts of their difficult life experiences. I am committed to walking alongside you on your path toward healing from depression, anxiety, (complex) trauma, abuse, and other challenges. Providing a safe, non-judgmental environment, I tailor my methods to your needs. I love working with individuals and families from a variety of cultural backgrounds. My expertise is in supporting those struggling with traumatic experiences as well as difficulties related to cultural and relational contexts.
Education & Experience
I have had the honour of working in various capacities with a diverse range of age groups from different cultural backgrounds. In over 30 years of working with children, youth, and adults, I have gained a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of body, emotions, soul, and mind, as well as the impact of adverse experiences and suffering on the human spirit. I have come to appreciate the immense potential for healing from within in each person.
I have experience supporting individuals and their families struggling with a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, behavioural/emotional challenges, and complex trauma impact.
Based on my professional and life experience, I adapt my therapeutic practice to the personality, culture, and age of the client, as well as the presenting problem(s), to ensure the most effective treatment method. I take a holistic approach, drawing from a variety of therapy approaches.
