Education & Experience

I have had the honour of working in different capacities with a wide range of age groups from a variety of cultural backgrounds. In over 30 years of working with children, youth, and adults I have obtained a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of body, emotions, soul, and mind, the impact of adverse experiences and suffering on the human spirit, as well as the immense potential of healing from within in each person. I have experience supporting individuals and their families struggling with a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, behavioural/emotional challenges, and (complex) trauma impact. Based on my professional and life experience, I adapt my therapeutic practice to the personality, culture, and age of the client, as well as the presenting problem(s), to ensure the most effective treatment method. I take a holistic approach, drawing from a variety of therapy approaches.
