About Me
I have been a practicing psychotherapist for 38 years. Throughout all of my years in practice, I have been amazed by the resilience of the human spirit. Whether you are struggling with relationship issues, feeling overwhelmed by traumatic memories, anxious about a life transition, or just having difficulty coping with daily stressors, help is available if you reach out. I believe that many of the answers you are seeking are within your self. My role is to listen, support, and witness your process, using the treatment modalities that best fit your situation. My approach is collaborative, meaning we will discuss together what your goals are and how to best help you reach those goals. In addition to traditional therapies such as CBT and DBT, I am trained in EMDR therapy for treatment of PTSD. Many clients find that traditional “talk therapy” as a treatment for trauma is insufficient. Therapy ideally provides a safe space in which healing and change can take place. Call or email me as an initial step to see if my practice would be a good fit for your needs.
