Christine Bennetts, LCSW, PMH-C
(she/her)
Preferred Name: Christine
About Me
My focus is on women experiencing infertility, pregnancy loss, and perinatal mental health issues (PPD/PPA.) I started my career as a hospital social worker for a medical center, primarily in the women's and children's units for over 20 years. It's in this work that I connected to the women I cared for and saw a need to help women adjust to and meet the challenges of becoming a mother. This is an area that has always been of profound interest to me. It can be a particularly vulnerable time in a woman's life, and it's my honor to support you through this process.
Education & Experience
I have a Masters in Social Welfare from UCLA, Bachelor of Science in Human Development from UC Davis, and am certified in Perinatal Mental Health. I've completed Postpartum Support International's Advanced Psychotherapy Training, American Society for Reproductive Medicine's Training for Mental Health Professionals and ASRM's yearlong mentorship program.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am an active member of Postpartum Support International and the Mental Health Professional Group for American Society for Reproductive Medicine. I was a volunteer for Resolve for 3 years on their helpline.
