About Me
I believe that each individual deserves respect and understanding in regards to one’s psychological and emotional world and how it affects one’s identity and life meaning. I believe my service to clients is a role as a guide to one’s inner world so that they may discover what is optimal for self-discovery, recovery, healing and to strengthen the desire for enduring change.
Education & Experience
I hold a Master’s of Arts Degree in Clinical-Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University with my training and internship in Prague, Czech Republic. My 12 years experience with individual psychotherapy has been in working in private practices and community mental health, specifically with clinical psychotherapy. My primary psychotherapeutic modality is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) for trauma, complex trauma and attachment trauma, traumatic chronic pain and chronic pain, behavioral treatment for chronic pain, sensorimotor psychotherapy, somatic therapy, Internal Family System (IFS), solution focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practice and additionally, focusing on the importance of the connection between emotions, the body and the brain.
